Card for the King competition:
Congratulations to two our pupils for being the winner and runner-up for MP Julie Marson’s Card for the King competition. The card has now been sent to Their Majesties and the two children received a copy, with a message of thank you from Julie. It is fantastic to see that the two winners of this Hertford and Stortford competition both come from our school. Both children were able to enjoy this moment of congratulations with family members and the families have been invited to parliament for a visit and tour.
On Sunday 30th April, eighteen children from Diamond Class (Y5/6) went with their teachers and parents to The Royal Albert Hall to be part of the Royal Albert Hall Gala Concert for Hertfordshire Schools.
Welcome back. We hope you have had a great Easter break.

This week is Children's Mental Health Week.
We are looking forward to the new term and the New Year.
We are delighted to welcome new staff; Mrs Wellington is now working with Ruby class on Mondays and Fridays, supporting the learning of the nursery and reception children and Mrs Hanci has joined the lunchtime team. We also have a new sports coach, Mr Biggs, who provides activities outside for two of the lunchtimes and leads one PE session for each class each week.
Thank you to parents for joining us for a lovely Carol Service at Great St Mary's Church.
The school is open for the usual time including breakfast club but in order to allow staff to get home before it gets dark and even colder, there will be no after school club.
The Nativity will go ahead for those with Monday tickets. For any enquiries about tickets, please contact the office.
Kind regards,
Mr Fisher
